Meat obtained from deer is called venison. This word was originally meant only for the game animals. Game animal means the animals which are hunted for food. But now this word primarily refers to the meat of any kind of deer. Poultry and Game's meat: Well most of the poultry and game’s meat is named after their original name. Such as Turkey, chicken, geese, duck, etc.

Pig meat is called pork. Meat obtained from a piglet that is fed on its mother’s milk is called meat from a suckling pig. The Muslims of the world don't eat pig meat because it's haram in the Muslim religion. And another type of meat we have, apparently people say that it is the tastiest of all, that’s pork. And pork is a pig. So it’s the pig’s meat.

The first one we have is bacon. Well, bacon is usually eaten by people for breakfast. So bacon is made out of pig’s meat and these are the thin slices of meat that can be fried or sautéed in a pan and is processed meat and treated with smoke and salt for preservation. So, that’s bacon for you. Let’s have a look at another one.

In the market there’s a variety of sausages, we have beef sausage, pork sausage we also have chicken sausage and in fact, we have different flavored sausages. And, again it's processed meat and it is cylindrical, round in shape. And it is made out of treated ground meat and it has flavors to it and it is also covered with thin skin. So it’s treated ground meat and is covered with thin skin. So maybe you are hungry and starving and you just want to eat something then go ahead sauté some sausage, it’s a nice and tasty snack.

The next one we have is ham, now many people do get confused with what is ham made of? So just because you eat a hamburger doesn’t mean that the ham is made of beef. Now ham is interestingly made of pig meat. So it’s basically the thigh of a pig which is again treated by salt and wet curing and smoke too. So it’s nice and delicious but yes many people do get confused, what exactly ham is? Ham is made out of pig meat.

The next one is pepperoni, Have you tried the delicious pepperoni pizza? Well if you haven’t then you should. Pepperoni is very commonly used in America and it’s a type of Salami, it’s red in color, it’s soft and it’s delicious of course. But again pepperoni is made out of a mashed pig, (pork) and beef meat. So again it’s fermented, just because it’s a type of salami, it is processed meat and it’s a little smoky and it is bright red in color. So that’s pepperoni for you.

The next one we have is salami, salami is again a type of processed meat it’s treated with salt, it’s also treated with smoke and different flavors too. In fact, salami is available in a variety of meat types, you can either have chicken salami, you also have beef salami, or pork salami. So it’s made out of various animal meat. So that’s salami and then we have minced meat, finally something which is not processed. Well, minced meat in many countries is also called ground meat and it’s basically fine chopped meat. It’s grind meat. So you either use a grinder to grind the meat or you just chop it. So it’s basically finely chopped meat. So that’s minced meat and then we have steak.

Do you like your steak? Well, steak is a big portion of the slice. It is a slice of beef or a slice of pork and in fact, in many countries, we also have slices of fish steaks. Fish steaks are also slices of meat. It is either roasted or grilled. Usually, when you go to a restaurant you will mention that you want your steak to be half-cooked or pink, or fully cooked (well done). So different people prefer their steak to be either cooked well or they want it to raw. That’s pink in color. So that’s steak, so it can be pork steak, beefsteak, or fish steak.

There is a lot of propaganda about red meat in society. For this reason, many have completely eliminated this meat from the diet. Again many are hesitant to eat this meat.
Experts say that red meat found in beef contains a lot of essential nutrients. White meat is low in a type of iron or iron-rich protein called myoglobin. Since iron is red in color, white meat is lighter in color due to myoglobin. White meat is commonly found in some parts of poultry, such as chicken and turkey, such as the chest muscles, but myoglobin levels are higher because the leg meat is red.
Saturated fats are high in bad cholesterol or LDL cholesterol and this cholesterol accumulates in various blood vessels of the body to form block or atherosclerotic plaques in the blood vessels. Red meat contains more LDL or bad cholesterol or saturated fat than white meat. But the birds that fly like ducks have more myoglobin in their breast meat so the muscles turn red. Fish meat is white meat.

The red meat found in beef contains a lot of essential nutrients. Beef contains iron which prevents anemia in pregnant women, growing children, and adolescents. This meat is rich in vitamin B12 which plays a role in blood formation and nerve formation.
Beef contains a lot of minerals called zinc which boosts the body's immune system. Beef-free beef, which is low in fat and high in protein, contains 180 calories without just 180 ounces of fat but contains more than 10 essential nutrients.
Lean meats should contain total ounces of fat with less than 10 grams of total fat, .5.5 grams less saturated fat, and fewer milligrams of cholesterol. So when buying beef, you need to look at the label, if the meat is prime type, the meat is tasty and soft, but the amount of saturated fat in the meat is much higher. Selected grades are low in fat, such as meat cuts.
