Today I have a very easy and simple Fish Grilled Or Fish Tikka recipe for you. So, let's start.

Ingredients of Fish Grilled or Fish Tikka

  • Fish cubes = 370 grams
  • Garlic = 2 cloves
  • Green chili = 1 ( If you like spicy you take more depending on your choice)
  • Oil = 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice = 2 tablespoons
  • Carom crushed = 1/2 Tsp
  • Coriander powder =1 tablespoon
  • Cumin  crushed = 1 Tsp
  • Salt = as per your taste
  • Red chili flakes = 1/2 Tsp
  • Orange food color = 1 pinch (which is optional)

Method of Preparation:

I have fish cubes which I have completely dried using a kitchen towel. Now for its marinating, we will first take garlic and green chili and blend them completely.
As it might be difficult to blend such a small quantity of items, I have added oil and lemon juice. These are also required for marinating later on.
We will not use water in this process as it prevents the fish from holding the marinate and when we fry it, the marinate starts coming off. After blending, we will pour the blend over the fish and start mixing our spices and orange food color, which is optional.

  • Water = as required (for moisturizing your hand)
  • Oil = as required (for frying fish cakes)
  • Olive oil = as required (optional) use in serving
  • Lemon slices = squeezed on fish cakes

Method of Preparation:

I'm taking onion, roughly chopped, and take a pan add oil in the pan then add into the chopped onion. Once you've see softened off these onions I'm adding a little bit of flour. Mix that into the onions, you can see the onions have taken on a little bit of color and then I'm going to go in with the milk.
So this will be the basis of your sauce and not only that will become the place where you keep your smoked fish it depends on your choice which fish you like. So let that keep in the pan for five minutes. So here we've got potatoes peeled, boiled for like 12 to 13 minutes until they're tender, and then drain.
You can steam off the potatoes and that's important because we want the dry potato. Then it's going to hold on to the flakes of the fish, take a regular potato masher. You make a little well in the middle and don't want it to be super smooth.
