Donuts can be both sweet and salty. Donuts are very popular in many countries. They are also made at home and bought from restaurants. Donuts are also popular in Pakistan. We have a wide variety of delicious donuts at our bakeries. It is available and people buy it according to their taste. Donuts taste good with evening tea. Chocolate donuts are especially popular among children. Different donuts can be made at home. There are different techniques for making donuts.
1. Potato Donuts
Ingredients:
- Chicken = 2/1 kg
- Green chilli = 5
- Onion = 1 medium
- Mint.= 3 tablespoon
- Green coriander = 3 tablespoon
- Salt = to taste
- Cumin seeds powder = 1 tablespoon
- Red chili (chopped) =1 tablespoon
- Hot spice powder = 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder =1/2 teaspoon
- Ginger Paste = 1 teaspoon
- Garlic Paste = 1 teaspoon
- Potato = 1 kg
- Flour = 6 tablespoons
- Corn floor = 4 tablespoons
- Eggs = 2 to 3
- Bread Crums = As you needed
- Oil = As needed
Method of preparation:
First, you take a grinder and add chicken, green chilies, onion, mint, green coriander, salt, cumin seeds powder, chopped red chilies, hot spice powder, turmeric powder, and ginger garlic paste and grind well.
Now take boiled potatoes in a bowl and add ground Kiahua mixture, flour, cornflour, and egg in it, mix well with the help of hands and keep it.
Now make round pieces of the prepared mixture and make a donut shape by piercing the middle of the finger.
Now dip the prepared donuts in the egg and then apply bread crumbs on the donuts.
Now take oil in a pan put the prepared donuts in it and fry till light brown.

2. Coconut Glazed Donut
Ingredients:
- Flour =1 kg
- Eggs = 4 to 5
- Butter = 200 grams
- Powder milk = 100 grams
- Salt = To taste
- Yeast = 1 tablespoon
- Castor sugar = 100 grams
- Glazed icing = Half a cup
- Icing sugar = half a cup
- Red color = 1 pinch
- Coconut = half a cup
Method of preparation:
Take a bowl add egg, butter, salt, powdered milk, yeast, and sugar to the flour, and knead the dough with lukewarm water. Make dough from the kneaded flour and cut it in half. take it to rest for 30 minutes. Now fry and put white glazed icing on top, roll in coconut and serve.

3. Mexican Donuts
Ingredients:
- Eggs = 2
- Flour = 4 ounces
- Water = 8 ounces
- Cinnamon powder = 1 teaspoon
- Cocoa powder = 1 teaspoon
- Corn flour = 6 tablespoons
- Butter = 1 and a half tablespoons
- Oil = For deep frying
- Icing sugar = as needed
- Salt = as required
Method of preparation:
Put water, butter, salt, and sugar in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until butter melts.
Now immediately add flour and cornflour cook on medium heat and keep stirring till the mixture accumulates in the middle like a ball. After cooking this remove it from the stove and keep it aside to cool it.
Now add two eggs one by one. In this mixture Add cocoa powder and cinnamon powder and mix very well.
When everything is well mixed, fill the mixture into a piping bag with a star nozzle and make long strips in hot oil. Fry these donuts for about three to four minutes on both sides.

4. Chicken Donuts
Ingredients:
- Chicken =1 kg (boil and grind)
- Cumin.seeds (Crushed) =1 teaspoon
- Eggs = 3
- Gram flour = 1 teaspoon
- Mint = 1 tablespoon
- Red pepper = 1 teaspoon
- Flour = 1 teaspoon
- Salt = as needed
- Green chilies = 5
- Garlic Paste = 1 tbsp
- Ginger Paste = 1 tbsp
- Oil = for fry
- Breadcrumbs = as needed
Method of preparation:
First, you take mint and green chilies and grind mint and green chilies.
Boil the chicken and mash it. Add crushed green chilies, mint, and garlic ginger paste, and mix. Now add cumin seeds, salt, basin, red chilies, and an egg and mix. Now make donuts out of it (make around tiki and press it with your finger in the middle and make a hole)
Now heat the oil, first add dry flour to the donuts, then add egg, and then cream and fry.

5. Boston Cream Donuts
Ingredients:
- Flour = 1 kg
- Eggs = 4
- Butter = 200 grams
- powdered milk = 100 grams
- Salt = to taste
- Yeast = 2 tablespoons
- Castor sugar = 100 grams
- For the vanilla cream:
- Milk =1 cup
- Custard powder =2 tablespoons
- Castor sugar = tablespoons
- Cream = tablespoons
- Vanilla essence = few drops
- For the chocolate sauce:
- Icing sugar =1 cup
- Cocoa powder =2 tablespoons
- Butter = 1 teaspoon
Method of preparation:
To make chocolate sauce:
Mix all ingredients. Roll out the dough and set it aside to rise.
Then after deep frying in the pan, cut it in half and fill it with vanilla cream.
Top with chocolate sauce and serve.

6. Chocolate Donuts
Ingredients:
- Flour =500 grams
- Sugar = 50 grams
- Condensed milk = 250 grams
- Egg-yolk = 3
- Butter = 250 grams
- Yeast = 25 grams
- Dry milk = 1 teaspoon
- Salt = 1 teaspoon
- Water = As needed
- Cooking oil = As needed
- Chocolate = 300 grams
Method of preparation:
First, you take flour in a bowl and mix it with sugar, condensed milk, egg yolk, butter, yeast, powdered milk, salt, water, cooking oil, and chocolate. Now you make the prepared dough donuts and fry for two to three minutes.
Now take the chocolate into a bowl melt it and dip the prepared donuts in it.
Now sprinkle some crushed chocolate on it. Delicious chocolate donuts are ready to serve.

7. Baked Donuts
Ingredients:
- Flour = 200 grams
- Yeast = 7 grams
- Semi-warm milk = 100 ml
- Egg =1
- Sugar = 50 grams
- Salt =1 pinch
- Butter melted = 50 grams
- Vanilla essence = 1 teaspoon
Method of preparation:
In a bowl, add egg, sugar, salt, and vanilla essence and mix very well.
When the sugar dissolves, add lukewarm milk and mix, then add yeast and mix well. Then add flour and mix. Then when the flour has mixed, add melted butter little by little and by hand. Mix with the help of, until a soft mixture is ready. Cover the mixture with plastic and keep it for about 15 minutes so that the mixture swells and doubles.
Now mix this mixture and put it in a piping bag and either put the foil on the oven tray and make round donut-shaped circles or put it in the donut tray and cover it again with plastic and leave it for about 15 minutes.
after 15 minutes. Take off the plastic and bake for 10 minutes in a preheated 180-degree oven and then decorate with colored glazes or plain glazes with icing sugar as you like and serve delicious donuts with tea.

For Donuts Glazes
- Icing sugar = 100 grams
- Water = few drops
- Food color = as required
- Lemon juice = few drops
Method of preparation:
Add water and lemon juice to the icing sugar, mix and apply on the donuts or apply different colors and make colored glazes.
