- Cornflakes = 125 grams

- Unsalted butter = 90 grams
- Chocolate Chips = 85 grams
Method of Preparation:
we've even got a tin and a sugar thermometer that we're going to use to make our caramel a bit later but the first thing we need to do is prepare our corn flakes. Into a large bowl, I've got cornflakes.
In this bowl, I add a little package. we've got some malt powder and some caster sugar of each along with half a teaspoon of salt so let's just sprinkle all of that over the top as well and we're going to bind all of that together with some butter, so I've got unsalted butter here and we're going to mix it all together and once all of the butter has kind of coated the cornflakes.
It's not wet or anything like you's not looking for it to be liquidy just coating the cornflakes we're going to spread them out on a baking tray now we are going to bake these at 140 degrees c which is pretty low but we're not trying to cook them or anything we're just going to give them a light toasting to take out.

So I'm just rubbing a little butter around the inside of the tin and that's going to make sure that the greaseproof sticks down so then we're going to grab one piece of greaseproof put it in the tin like this and then we're going to put another piece on top of that the opposite way so then we'll pop that to one side and in this bowl.
I've got butter this can be soft or cold it doesn't matter for this bit because what we're going to do is add chocolate chips to it. we've gone for a really nice dark here but you can use something light if you prefer.
Now I'm going to pop over to the microwave and I'm going to melt this together 30 seconds at a time until it's all smooth if you don't have a microwave you can very easily do this so that is lovely and smooth oh let's get those cornflakes out of the oven and I've just turned the oven up to 170 degrees c because that's the temperature that we want to bake the brownie at and it's really important to preheat your oven to the temperature you're going to bake at so that the whole oven is nice and warm and also those cornflakes smell absolutely incredible and once they've cooled down they are the best little snack.
Nice article...
